Friends

This is my second card for the Tuesday morning sketch challenge this time it is laid out the way the sketch is

 Not that you can see it but the backing paper is glittery adhered to white base card used green card for the back piece then the friends adhered to purple card then onto the card added ribbon so i have spots and stripes

knitting Nan

My Sister In Law  who is in her 70's loves to knit by hand or on the machine, and I found this baking Paper in my stash and thought of her so that's another Birthday Card out of the way

 

Backing paper just looks like a knitted whatever adhered  ribbons adhered to backing, paper, one is a tape measure the other green and cream,cut card with cuttle bug adhered small cream one to same maroon card  stamped sentiments with real stamps
I have just realized now with putting the sketch on here that I should of  made it  landscape  but it looks ok to me

Birthday Mice

Liked the simplicity of this sketch

Backing paper from my stash a nice blue with fluffy clouds  pink gingham backing paper added, they looked really nice together, sometimes a photo of the cards don't look as good as the card,Cut the image out on the cuttle bug distress inked the edges and adhered to card with foam

Teddy

C&S is not really my thing I always feel something is missing,but I think we have to go out of our comfort zone sometimes and try new things and maybe we might find it fun

Used Maroon base card cut and embossed the corners
Printed the sentiment on the computer
Adhered the teddy to the card

In the round

Cute card Thursday was In the the round I quite like doing cards like this  usually I would put flowers on it as well but don't think this card needs it

Cut the circle out of the card with cuttle bug then ran it through with an embossing folder it is an EZCUT  unfortunately it has not got a name on it  Cut the Red card with Cuttle Bug using an intricutz die called fans of Fantasia sentiment was cut with the scan and cut Magnolia stamp a digi printed it out colored with copics put it all together using foam tape

Think I have found my mojo and some things I forgot I had thanks to my grandson, had to put a bolt on the door as he thought my craft room was his own treasure chest,so after a bit of a tidy up I managed to make a couple cards

washi girl

Had to do a card with washi tape on it, for our wee NZ card group, and I thought this sketch would show it off nicely

 cut white card distress inked the edges put washi tape  down side found image on the net and i don't know who its from as it was one of those images you save and might use one day, coloured image with copics, distress inked the edges,cut another bit of washi tape in place of star typed sentiment  on the card on the computer

Off to school

I like to do something a bit extra for the grandkids when they turn five
Our Alex is off to school so this one is for him

Adhered striped backing paper to white base card, All the animals the boy and the bunting has been cut on the scan & cut, fence and sentiment is a die cut, bits and pieces of these are adhered with foam dots just to stand out

This is to represent Alex's life on the farm

Inside of card is to  represent the start of his new journey…school, he lives on a life style block, not enough to be a farm but a enough to be sustainable, so he has to bus to school

Black & White

I like black and white on a card seems to pop out at you
Get creative challenges  was Black & White
Also noticed that all the cards posted were for a female
So  I decided to do a man's card OMG what was I thinking !!!!
I always struggle with a Man's card but am happy with what I ended up with

Used black and white backing paper adhered to white base card, distress inked the edges,already had the image cut out so as you can see image on white card then onto black cut ovals with the cuttle bug  the bottom white is from a chevron die cut in half,   the fly and sentiment are stamped

Anti Aging

Used the free stamp , that was provided for the June image challenge,again
this will be a  stamp that will be used alot, good for for the grand kids to colour in

I printed out and coloured out the images adhered to white card then added the blue frames that I cut out on the cuttle bug using two sizes  printed the sentiment onto the blue card on the computer My lady, whom I just love and have used on more than one occasion, has been de-coupaged with a thin foam tape. I find that it doesn't matter how you take a photo of a De-decoupage image or how carefully you put the  De-coupage together it never seems to look good
