Another Challenge I have done

Recipe:  3 Strips of paper, distressed edges and a tag

Distressed the edges of  a creamy coloured card three pieces of paper distressed them and adhered to  card added lace made the tag using a die that I just cut one end  used a writing stamp and distress inked the edges stamped the edge,scissors and sentiment found the dress on pintrest added flower to bottom corner
This was really out of my comfort zone but I need to try other things

Lots of blue

Get Creative challenge this week is Lots of Blue and as I needed to make a boys Birthday Card, for a friend and as I find it hard to do male cards,this challenge was just right to get me going

Two different Blue spotty backing paper adhered to blue base card bit of ric rac ribbon over the join (haven't quite been able to master the art of hiding the joins)colured the image even gave him some blue streaks adhered to light blue card and onto a darker one at the back printed sentiment  onto blue card and coloured with copics

Friends

This is my second card for the Tuesday morning sketch challenge this time it is laid out the way the sketch is

 Not that you can see it but the backing paper is glittery adhered to white base card used green card for the back piece then the friends adhered to purple card then onto the card added ribbon so i have spots and stripes

knitting Nan

My Sister In Law  who is in her 70's loves to knit by hand or on the machine, and I found this baking Paper in my stash and thought of her so that's another Birthday Card out of the way

 

Backing paper just looks like a knitted whatever adhered  ribbons adhered to backing, paper, one is a tape measure the other green and cream,cut card with cuttle bug adhered small cream one to same maroon card  stamped sentiments with real stamps
I have just realized now with putting the sketch on here that I should of  made it  landscape  but it looks ok to me

Liked the simplicity of this sketch

Backing paper from my stash a nice blue with fluffy clouds  pink gingham backing paper added, they looked really nice together, sometimes a photo of the cards don't look as good as the card,Cut the image out on the cuttle bug distress inked the edges and adhered to card with foam

Teddy

C&S is not really my thing I always feel something is missing,but I think we have to go out of our comfort zone sometimes and try new things and maybe we might find it fun

Used Maroon base card cut and embossed the corners
Printed the sentiment on the computer
Adhered the teddy to the card

Am putting this on
Less is more ..something that is interesting to touch

In the round

Cute card Thursday was In the the round I quite like doing cards like this  usually I would put flowers on it as well but don't think this card needs it

Cut the circle out of the card with cuttle bug then ran it through with an embossing folder it is an EZCUT  unfortunately it has not got a name on it  Cut the Red card with Cuttle Bug using an intricutz die called fans of Fantasia sentiment was cut with the scan and cut Magnolia stamp a digi printed it out colored with copics put it all together using foam tape
