Daffodils

Well here we are the last day in August and the last day of level 4 lock down here in NZ, I thought I could craft in peace with no grandchildren around, but no, didn't get much crafting done and I really missed the kids. Just as well for phones, Level 3 is still pretty much the same as 4,for me

I did manage to do another of my DT cards with this Laurie Furnell image little girl & cute-kitty

I decided to make a stepper card,I printed out the image and coloured with copics, and I managed to get the cat coloured right, the backing paper, daffodils, was from my stash,Adhered to yellow base card.In the stamp set there was a row of three Daffodils  so I linked three together  to make a row of Daffodils, did two and adhered them to the step.Sentiment stamped Inside I put a square of white card with a panel of the backing paper A quick card to make once I decided what to do

Mr Speaker

My DT card this time for Creative Knockouts is this fun digi from Dr Digi house of stamps called Mr Speaker Birthday

to

Now I am going to have fun with this image I know a few cranky old men who are dreading getting older, I will add a age and their name and the messages will reflect their moaning
I used kraft card for the base, the background was given to me ages ago from a friend, I adhered the jute ribbon to the backing card then a thin black ribbon,I then adhered the card to the base  I copied the sentiment and printed it out then cut them out onto kraft card
The sentiment say's "
I bet you thought you'd never become a grumpy old man but here you are killing it"

Seesaw

For this week at creative knockouts  the theme is all stitched up and the image I used was a stamp from Hetty Clare Art called  ladies on a seesaw

On white card I wrote the sentiments and put the image in between and printed it off I then printed another off to make a mask for the ladies and the clouds I then used my distress inks and coloured the sky and grass. I then coloured the image with copics  I then punched the edges on  a light green card although it looks blue and adhered the image to  it then onto a white base card and then I realised the theme was all stitched up lucky I used the punch I did  I was able to thread some gold thread through it
I dont know if my camera is getting old but it hasn't been showing the true colours, and the pictures look a bit dull
