Celebrations
I printed out the image onto the card then made a mask because I decided I was going to stencilled the background, stamped the sentiments I added lace to the underside then ribbon on top and tied a bow, then adhered it to a pink base card. I wanted the baby to be the focal point, so I printed an extra image coloured it with copics adhered it to the card with foam squares. Haven't quite decided what to put on the inside the card but there will be "she will be in safe hands"
I have been knitting all my left over bits of wool, into Beanies for premmie babies that I am going to give to my local hospital (if I am allowed to do that with covid) so I am also going to make a few cards with this image to go with them

Hairdresser Gnome
I have fallen in love with Gnomes and they are so easy to make so I decided to make my Sister in law a hairdresser one
I used a cone for the Gnome bought a pair of red socks at the Dollar shop and used it for the bottom cut out a piece of blue material and made a pocket and I made a name badge, the name of her salon, and glued it to the apron, her hair was made from fur and the coloured bit were cheap hair extensions from the Dollar store The hat, made with felt and sewed together with a blanket stitch, added a bell, the flowers from felt were cut with the cuttle bug the little hairdressing tools were from a packet of craft buttons. The nose I had problems with I can not find a bead without a hole or a plain one so I covered what I had with a bit of white sock worked out ok I have another three on the go, but christmas has got in the way, My SIL loved it and has put it on display in the salon
There are a lot of great tutorials out there for the gnomes as I said they are easy to do and they dont take long to make and if you are lucky enough you can also get a free pattern I think I spent more time decorating her
tis the season
Haven't had much time for card making lately too many other things to do
My DT card for creative knockouts is from The Artsy stamper and I picked this image called seaside holiday set the image made me think of the lake where we go each christmas
The base card is red, I found this baking paper in my ever growing stash and it is meant to look like water drops. The image I printed out and coloured it with copics the boat I coloured orange as that is the colour of our little row boat that my husband patiently rows around the lake, (Motors are not allowed on the lake and it is so peaceful you can hear the fish jumping) I cut an extra image, so I would have the presents cut them out and put them on top so they were slightly raised I distressed the edges or the card then adhered to red card, same as the base. I did the sentiment on the cut n scan and adhered it sideways just to be different
